Nicolás "Nico" Rosenfeld is an illustrator from Santa Fe, Argentina, whose intricate, intensely colored work explores sacred plants, psychedelia, dreams and the bizarre. Drawing since early childhood, Rosenfeld is best known for a series of portraits of famous psychonauts, historical and contemporary explorers of consciousness, each surrounded by symbolic details tied to the subject's life and work. Steeped in visionary and Indigenous-inspired motifs, the pieces balance the earthly and the transcendent with rich, hypnotic detail. Rosenfeld's prints are collected internationally, including limited editions through Threyda.
