A 72-hour edition is a moment in time. For three days, the work is open to anyone who wants to collect it. When the timer runs out, the edition closes for good.
Unlike a traditional limited edition, there’s no fixed number set in advance. The edition is shaped by the collectors who show up for it: every print collected during the 72-hour window becomes part of the edition. That means no race to beat a sell-out and no pressure to decide in the first few minutes. Everyone who wants to be part of it has the full window to join.
Once the window closes, the official edition size is final. That number becomes part of the work’s history, a record of everyone who collected it together.
Every piece is numbered within that final edition, either directly on the print or on its accompanying numbered certificate of authenticity. You’ll find out your number when your print arrives.
